Noteworthy: Hope and abundant life

First Peter 1:3 says that in His great mercy, God has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. And, in John 10:10, Jesus tells us why He came: that we may have life and have it abundantly.

It’s so fitting that in the Northern Hemisphere, we celebrate Easter in the spring, as what was once dead becomes alive.

It’s also fitting that this issue of the newsletter contains articles related to “hope” (Heather Boyd), as well as the Fedoryka brothers spreading hope (through their music), and “abundant life” (eliminating what chokes our growth so God can blossom us).

Yes, spring has sprung, but, more importantly, He has risen indeed. Because we are in Christ, we are new creations. The old, in fact, has passed away, and the new has come. Praise God for this new birth into a living hope in which Jesus fills us with His abundant life.
