Coffee, Hospitality & Joy
Moriah’s passion is Christ-centered hospitality. That, and coffee. She opened Joy Coffee with the desire to honor God by providing a space for people to gather and build community over a cup of coffee. Moriah finds joy in sending her share amount to a fellow member each month and praying for their medical need and says Samaritan Ministries is the perfect fit for her.
Called to Serve
Ten years ago, what started out as a desire to lessen the financial burdens of a small, rural church became a step of faith as Kyle and Colleen said no to insurance and joined Samaritan Ministries. Since that time their family has grown and ministry opportunities have taken them to different states and through it all, Samaritan members have been there for them.
Peace of Mind
Maxine arrived in the midst of a pandemic. A home birth wasn’t part of the original plan, but with Justin by her side and the help of a midwife and doula team, Cindy gave birth at home. Justin and Cindy are thankful they had the freedom to choose an alternative birthing method, and felt loved and cared for by the Samaritan community during a joyful and challenging time.
