Noteworthy: Calling of the season
By Anna Moore · Aug 16, 2024
A new season begins near the end of this month and as I write this, I can’t help but think how intentional and visionary God is with seasons. He is the master of time, and it's only He who determines when and how things occur.
This month, we share some stories of members doing what the Lord called them to do in their current season. Several of our New Mexico members relate how being Samaritan members has served them and share their hopes the state will allow them to continue participating in health care sharing ministries. In our Member Spotlight, Katelyn Baas talks about how God pointed her to music ministry to glorify Him. We also have a book review of a cookbook filled with recipes and tips from “junior” chefs. One young chef wisely says, “You’re going to mess up. You’re going to burn a bunch of food. Just don’t be afraid to try new things and to mess it up and make something gross.” He speaks about the cooking process, but his words can be used to describe any new endeavor.
What is God calling you to do in this season?
