Noteworthy: True freedom

While the U.S. celebrates its freedom each July through Independence Day, we Christians can celebrate our freedom every day. True freedom comes from Christ, and our dependence is on (rather than independence from) Him. Galatians 5:1 reminds us Christ has set us free, and we shouldn’t submit to the “yoke of slavery.” We don’t have to work for our freedom, Christ gives it to us as a gift, and we receive it through faith. Praise God for His grace and mercy! May we always stand firm in this liberty.
