Christian meditation apps can guide in prayer, reflection

By Anna Moore  ·  Jun 22, 2026

We often don’t incorporate time in our days to pause and enjoy moments of solitude due to life’s busy agenda. We also don’t always meditate on God’s Word, sometimes not even what we just read that morning.

These Christian meditation apps offer guidance to set aside that time to reflect on God’s Word and enter into His rest. These apps should be used to enhance time in God’s Word, not replace it.

Soulspace

“Pause, pray, and glorify daily” is the Soulspace tagline. Choose from a selection of guided Bible-based meditations, bedtime stories, courses, calming music and lullabies to help to start or end your day. This app, created by Samaritan Ministries members Jim and Jamie Choi, has a free version with daily prayers and a “Bible in 100 Days” series. It also offers a subscription for $37 a year, or users can pay a one-time cost of $139 for lifetime access.

Glorify

Glorify offers daily devotionals, calming Bible meditations and declarations rooted in scripture, guided prayers by topic, worship playlists, Bible study plans, and a prayer tracker. This app has free features, but there is a Glorify Plus subscription option for $6.99-9.99 per month or $41.99-69.99 per year. Pricing differs based on region.

Lectio 365

Lectio 365 uses the ancient practice of Lectio Divina, but it’s guided and made simple for the user. The app offers morning, midday, and evening guided prayers so you can use it throughout the day. When users hit “play,” they are taken through the stages of P.R.A.Y.: pause, reflect, ask, and yield. This app is completely free, though donations are welcome.

Dwell

Dwell is an audio Bible app that also offers guided sleep experiences, playlists based on how you feel and everyday life moments, breath prayers, and devotionals. Users can personalize the audio narrator’s voice, speed, background music, and sound effects. Multiple Bible translations are available. Yearly subscriptions are $59.99 for one person, or monthly subscriptions are $9.99. Family plans are available for $17.99 per month for up to six people.
