Why SMI? Fabrys share the burden

Chris Fabry heard about Samaritan through friend and fellow author Chris Jeub. After interviewing someone on his radio program, Chris Fabry Live!, who talked about the top health care sharing ministries, his family recently “made the leap.”

“We were paying $1,500 a month for our family for a health care system we rarely used, other than an ER visit every now and then,” he says. “Plus the idea that we could actually help other families and share the burden and pray for people makes me feel much better than funding a health care corporation model. I’m grateful for health insurance, don’t get me wrong. Many have been helped greatly. For us, I see this as a better model for our particular situation.”
