For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
Psalm 84:11
God is good. He always works out what is good for those who love Him, who are called according to His good purpose (Romans 8:28-32). Not only does He give what is good; He gives it at the best time.
The root of the first sin was doubting God’s goodness (Genesis 3:4-5). This is still the basis of our sins today.
The Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. He does not withhold any good thing from those who walk in His ways.
