The March Doorpost: Luke 18:7-8

And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”
Luke 18:7-8
Jesus said the words above right after telling about an unjust judge who granted a woman’s request because of her persistent appeals. God is not uncaring, like the unjust judge. Jesus says He will give justice speedily to His people, “who cry to Him day and night.”
How determined are we in our appeals to our Father about the deteriorating condition of our culture—about the apathy of God’s people in response to evil and unbelief—about our own personal lack of spiritual concern and energy? Are we crying to Him day and night, or just offering occasional, half-hearted prayers? When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?
