It is normal for people to go through the day humming, whistling, and singing the songs going around in their heads. For Christians filled with the Holy Spirit, these will not be just any songs.

Our music will be directed to the Lord and will direct us to Him. Our singing will not be only for ourselves. We will speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. We will choose music with words that communicate spiritual truths to ourselves and to those around us.
