The Doorpost: Spiritual war is fought with spiritual weapons

"... We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ."
2 Corinthians 10:5
As believers in Jesus Christ, we are involved in a war, but it is not a war fought with physical weapons. This war is raging in the culture around us, both at home and abroad. It is even raging within the Church. It is a spiritual war that can only be fought with spiritual weapons that have divine power to destroy strongholds.
To be obedient to Christ, we must each boldly do our part to engage in this battle, trusting in our Lord for wisdom to confront the arguments and opinions we face that are raised against the knowledge of God. Every one.
We must not try to avoid this conflict and shrink back in fear. We will not be put to shame, if we trust in and obey Him.
