The Doorpost: Nothing can separate us from the love of God

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39

We Christians face many challenges in our lives. The challenges can be more difficult sometimes than others and can come at us from many sources, as we see in the verses above. We may sometimes wonder if God loves us.

If we are God’s children, we should expect suffering (Romans 8:16-17). We should also expect the pain of His discipline (Hebrews 12:7-11). Are you facing difficulties in life that you wish would go away? Carefully, prayerfully think about these Scriptures and how they apply to your life.
