The Doorpost: God is able—and willing

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21

“I’m afraid it wouldn’t work.” “Only someone very spiritual could do that. God would never use me.” “Those opposing us might not be nice.” “No one would listen.”

When we face challenges in our lives or see problems in the world, we too often act like there is nothing we can do. We live as if it all depends on human strength. We miss out on seeing the power of God.

We don’t have to live like that. We can believe God. We can see Him do more than we ask. More than we can even imagine. Abundantly more. He is able. And willing. Let’s pray, trusting Him, and take action.
