If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
John 15:7
Jesus tells us that we can have whatever we wish if we remain in connection with Him. The key to having whatever we ask of Him is having the right relationship with Him.
If we are not abiding in Him, what we ask for won’t be done. We might not even be asking things of Him. If we cling to Him and love His words, He commands us to ask for whatever we wish, and it will be done for us.
If what we ask for is not being done, the first thing we need to check for is any problem in our connection with Him.
