You shall love the Lord your God …with all your mind.

Loving God with all of our being includes loving Him with all of our minds, and this does not happen without intentional effort. The culture around us is continually spewing out bad ideas that are opposed to God. We must engage these ideas and take them captive, so we and those around us will not be taken captive (2 Corinthians 10:5). This is necessary if we are to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves.
