Share your #sharingworks story with family, friends

Have you shared your Samaritan story with friends? Family?
How have you done it? Face to face? On social media?
If you haven’t shared your experiences with health care sharing, now is the time. Other Christians need to hear how Samaritan members have blessed you.
If it’s face-to-face, share a brochure with them.
If it’s on social media, use the #sharingworks hashtag on your Samaritan-related posts.
Here are some examples of how our members have already spread the message on social media:
You guys have already been a great blessing to my family. We love that our money goes to help other people instead of to an insurance company. Thanks #SharingWorks
We joined SM and it was the best (health care) I've had in years and affordable. My concern was what if something major comes along. In 2015 I came down with Pericarditis (infection of the heart lining). Long drawn out recovery but Samaritan members were with us every step of the way ... my old insurance company would have first found a way to deny coverage and then only after I appealed would they have grudgingly paid something. I can personally attest that Christians sharing with Christians is better than most insurance costing 3-5 times more.
I don't think I enjoy paying any bill more than I enjoy paying my Samaritan Ministries bill. Really a blessing to be able to help specific people out.
As I sit here paying my favorite "bill" of the month, I can't help but thank God for using even me to minister to HIS people. I love sending my share to a sweet family with a medical need and being His hands and feet. Thank you for this ministry! I switched from paper mail to doing it online so I could do it early! It's that exciting to me!
There are seven good reasons for you to share your story:
Reason #1: It glorifies God when we tell others how He is working. Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Reason #2: Join in the fun on social media. Be encouraged by what others are saying and add your voice. Use #sharingworks on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.
Reason #3: Fellow Christians need ethical health care options. New member Carrie wrote to us, “When I became aware that Obamacare required our insurance plan to pay for abortion, I was relieved to discover Samaritan Ministries.” (See ObamacareAbortion.com.)
Reason #4: Fellow Christians need affordable health care options. A recent Washington Times article reported, “Politicians at all levels of government are fearing another round of sticker shock for consumers this fall as insurers jack up prices.”
Reason #5: You can influence public opinion. Bloomberg News recently featured health care sharing in its reporting. It has announced a yearlong project to interview people who don’t have insurance about ways they are dealing with the changing market for medical care. If you are interested visit bit.ly/bloomsurv.
Reason #6: It could be worth a referral credit. You can receive a $100 credit on your monthly share for each household you tell that joins Samaritan Ministries.
Reason #7: You’ll be helping to build the kingdom of God. Churches, ministries, and missionaries can often save money on health care by joining Samaritan, leaving more resources to go toward the Great Commission.
