Stories of new beginnings permeate this month’s Samaritan Ministries Christian Health Care Newsletter.

  • Marvin Olasky interviews Rosaria Butterfield, author of The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert and a former lesbian who was brought to Christ through Scripture and a loving church. The video of the interview is here.
  • Worldview writer Rob Slane says that the problems of the world’s banking systems should bring us to our knees … in prayer.
  • Morning Center national director James Lansberry introduces the ministry’s first two employees in Memphis: Executive director Camille Clark and nurse midwife Davin Johnson.
  • Keith and Jennifer Mason worked on the effort to add a personhood amendment to the Colorado constitution in 2008. That campaign failed, but born out of it was Personhood USA, which endeavors to pass similar amendments in all 50 states. Keith and Jennifer are the subjects of this month’s Member Spotlight. They also talk about why they joined Samaritan Ministries for their health care needs.
  • In this month’s Doorpost, Ray King reflects on Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
