Samaritan Ministries board member Richard Driggers and his wife, Lynette, both received certification in Biblical counseling at this week’s annual conference of the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors. The conference was Oct. 4-6 at Faith Baptist Church in Lafayette, Ind.
To become certified by NANC, Richard and Lynette each had to pass theological and practical counseling exams and complete 50 hours of counseling supervised by a NANC fellow. The process took four or five years, Lynette said.
We thank God for the Driggers’ dedication to bringing glory to God and congratulate them on their accomplishment! We pray the Father will lead the Driggers as they minister to people in need of the Gospel, discipleship and love.
NANC promotes Biblically based counseling and provides training for those who wish to become counselors.
