Prescription discount card, discount lab services help out all members

Samaritan Ministries offers members a variety of ways to keep health care costs down, including a prescription discount card and resources for lab discounts.

If you’re a member, you can check them out in the Health Resources Center of your Samaritan Dashboard.

EnvisionRx

One of our helps is EnvisionRx, a prescription discount service. Samaritan members can print out their discount card from the app, as well as check out prices for medications and locations of participating pharmacies in their area. All of the Samaritan members in your household are automatically enrolled in EnvisionRx.

eDocAmerica

Another app will help you find discounted lab services through eDocAmerica. You can order labs through the app and pay online, and your requisition will be emailed to you. Lab results are reviewed by a physician and available for you online. An account is free to Samaritan members when accessed through the Dashboard. The site clearly states test pricing and other information on individual tests.

These services, available to you through your Samaritan membership, will help save you money upfront as well as save money for Samaritan members if a shareable need is involved.

I have to have my labs drawn twice a year. The price quoted to me to have my labs drawn at my doctors office was $950 and that did not include the office visit!

So I requested a list of the labs needed and was able to order them through the Samaritan website for around $425! I was able to set up my appointment at an independent lab. I was in and out of the lab within 15 minutes and had printable results 2 days later to take to my doctor. So grateful we chose to go with Samaritan Ministries!
