Noteworthy: Trusting that Needs will be met

One of the key aspects of health care sharing is that it’s not guaranteed. That’s an insurance thing. Instead, Samaritan Ministries members trust that their Needs will be met by Shares sent by fellow members.

Ray King, the original editor of this newsletter, touches on the need to depend on the Lord’s provision in this month’s cover story. God is the multiplier of loaves and fishes. He takes what’s available and increases the impact in a way that we can’t (cf. 1 Kings 17:7-16). We trust in His provision.

We also are blessed to have generous, faithful members like you who carry out the sharing. In fact, we should all feel blessed that we’re able to take part in the monthly miracle (see page 14 for one example) of about $30 million in bills being shared among more than 81,000 households.
