Noteworthy: Gratitude to God

Thirty years ago, God planted an idea in Ted Pittenger’s heart. Ted joined with Ray King and Brian Heller to envision what Samaritan Ministries health care sharing might be. Now, by God’s grace—and the faithful service, generosity, and prayers of Samaritan members—that idea has blossomed into a ministry that has impacted hundreds of thousands of lives!

A lot has changed in 30 years. There are countless new medical innovations and treatments. We understand more about the body, disease, and wellness. Technology allows us to financially contribute to others digitally. Of course, our culture-at-large has changed significantly, too!

But some things have not changed. Most importantly, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever! And, Samaritan remains fully committed to glorifying Jesus Christ, upholding the word of God regardless of cultural pressure, and faithfully serving one another in prayer, generosity, and encouragement.

I am deeply grateful that God would use Ted, Ray, Brian, and others to establish a ministry with a firm foundation—one that can withstand the changes of society, technology, and medical innovation.

To another 30 years of fruitful service, for God’s glory, and by God’s grace!
