Noteworthy: Remember your Father Who is in heaven

June is a month where many of us breathe a sigh of relief because the school year has drawn to a close. Ahead are vacations, graduation parties, family reunions, mowing lawns, pool parties, listening to birds chirping, watering plants, smelling lilacs, and celebrating fathers. “And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty” (2 Corinthians 6:18).

Whether your father was a shining example of God’s love or his behavior left deep wounds and scars (or somewhere in between), we have a Heavenly Father whose love never fails. From the air in our lungs, to the food on our table, take some time to reflect on the many ways the Lord has provided for you, and then thank Him for being your wonderful Father, Savior, and protector.
