Noteworthy: Jesus wins!

Spoiler alert: Jesus wins.
Those words are on the outside of my mobile phone because, even after all of these years of being a devoted follower of Christ, I can lose hope when I see the wars, rapid inflation, political fighting, family breakups, death, and disease around me.
Those four words on my mobile case remind me of these precious words in John 14:27 that Jesus spoke to His disciples when they, too, were discouraged: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
Nothing the evil one does is a surprise to the Lord. “In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33b).
