Slow down, sit quietly with the Lord

If your life is similar to mine, 2024 was a blur of activity. It went by so fast that, at times, I had to force myself to slow down and pay attention to everything the Lord was doing in my life (financial provision, health, working out His salvation in my life and the lives of those I love).

As this new year dawns like a beautiful sunrise, so does the need to slow down and sit quietly in the Lord’s presence every day. Be quiet. Listen. Find rest. Time is fleeting (and so is that pesky to-do list)! It is so important to make a conscious effort to look up from our busy schedules and soak in the calming presence of the Lord.

As the sun rises on 2025, remember that “the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23).
