Our members are the lifeblood of Samaritan Ministries

February is American Heart Month, and this month’s newsletter has a lot of heart as it features the experiences of Samaritan Ministries members as well as an article about the health benefits of donating blood.
Our members really are the lifeblood of the ministry. I hope I’m not straining a point, but it’s your gifts that flow to other members each month to help them pay their medical bills. It’s also your prayers and emotional support that encourage them.
However, we also know that the heart of it all is Jesus Christ. Without Him, there is no provision, no life.
This month, let us celebrate the good work He has done in healing and provision, such as in Susanna Bennett’s testimony on page 1, reminding us how helpless we are without Him. Or the good news about Heather Boyd’s progress. Or Baillee Hoekman’s testimony of how God moved during a family illness to bring them a new baby.
Remember to give thanks to the Lord for the healing in these members’ lives and in yours.
