Movie 'Champion' champions power of forgiveness

Forgiveness, both for us and by us, is a liberating action, freeing us to love and to be loved.
And to race really cool cars.
The movie Champion, directed by Samaritan Ministries member Judd Brannon, tells the story of race car driver Sean Weathers (Andrew Chaney of Beyond the Mask), whose drive to win leads to tragedy and causes his own life to unravel. Also affected are the father (Gary Graham) of another driver and Sean’s 10-year-old daughter (Faith Renee Kennedy).
It soon becomes apparent, though, that the road to healing can only be found by turning away from blame and resentment and turning toward forgiveness and reconciliation.
That approach gets the checkered flag every time.
