Our young son, Diego, underwent brain surgery that was very unexpected. The surgery was successful, but he has a long road ahead in recovery. The medical bills were mounting, but with Samaritan Ministries, we had a calm and a peace about it. We were diligent in making sure the medical bills were correct. The ministry team members we worked with at Samaritan were always so kind and helpful whenever a question arose, and things were quickly resolved. And oh, what a blessing all the members are! The members are the core of this ministry, and we have been blessed by them beyond anything we could have imagined. The notes of encouragement we received were priceless during our difficult time. We can't say enough about Samaritan Ministries and all the members. Thank you, Samaritan, and a BIG "thank you” to all the members! You have blessed our socks off!

We joined Samaritan in September 2023. One month later, my son broke his wrist. As I sat in the ER with him, I was wondering if this sharing thing was going to work! I was so excited to negotiate my bill down at the ER and with other providers. I felt like I had a say in my health coverage and what I was paying. It was empowering! It also was great to know that I was helping keep the costs down for other Samaritan members. It was so encouraging to receive the Shares from other members, and I cherished each note and shared them with my son. This was also an opportunity to teach him about how health sharing works and how we can share the burden of health costs without having to pay astronomical prices (our health insurance used to cost us more than our mortgage each month!). I love sending my Share each month. It is my favorite bill to pay! I know it will directly impact someone on the receiving end. Our family has been greatly blessed by Samaritan Ministries!
