The Lord teaches Oklahoma member 'precious lessons,' builds her faith

By Samaritan members  ·  Jan 29, 2026

I will never take walking for granted again! The Lord has used this season to teach me to focus on what I can do, NOT on what I can’t! He has taught me precious lessons and has built and strengthened my faith as I’ve seen Him provide again and again. Praise His Holy Name! I am regaining strength in my legs and continuing to improve my walking. I’m so thankful to all the Christians who ministered to me via Samaritan Ministries with their checks and notes.

Judah recently went into the ER for chest pain. We planned to submit this as a new need but thankfully we haven’t had to. God provided by way of multiple discounts we got from the hospital/provider, so the visit ended up being relatively inexpensive. We are currently unsure what caused his chest pain, but it hasn’t bothered him since. His other medical concerns have stabilized. Thanks be to God.

In Romans 8:28, God says, “He works all things out for the good of those who are called according to His purpose.” His faithfulness showed us many times how he applied that verse to our lives through friendships, hospital care, and especially through family and church family, loving us in so many ways. Two years ago, I had back surgery and then this past April I was bucked off a horse. I broke and cracked several ribs and injured my lung. The support and prayers from Samaritan Ministries members were so encouraging. The help in finding the best medical doctors and working out payments and discounts was amazing.
