Member letter: Unease transforms into gratitude
When we first looked into Samaritan Ministries, I have to say that I was a bit uneasy. But when I called, the ministry was more than happy to give me the phone number of someone already using the program—I was then met with a friendly voice and overwhelming praise for Samaritan Ministries. Now, ten years later, we are still with Samaritan Ministries. We went through many hospital visits for my husband who had a chronic problem with getting a blockage in his small intestine, yet at that time the doctors never really came up with a solution. I don’t know how we could have made it through without the encouragement we received from our family at Samaritan Ministries, the Karis Group, and the many cards we received through other members. Because of all of the prayers lifted up for my husband, it was revealed to us that an overgrowth of yeast in his system caused the problem. As we continue to work to keep this odd condition under control, we are thankful for the family of fellow believers we can count on through trying times.
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers and hard work to make sure everything is provided for. You have been more than a blessing.
