Member letter: ‘That’s how it should be!’

About a year ago, when our son, Brian, was home for the weekend, he picked up one of our Samaritan newsletters and was reading it. He asked, “What is Samaritan about?” I explained to him the concept of it and how it worked; then he exclaimed, “That’s how it should be!”
Just a few months later, he was killed in an auto accident. Samaritan invited us to write a memorial of him to be published in Final Rewards. As soon as it came out in the newsletter, we began to receive many cards and letters from Samaritan members. They were not just token responses, but tender, thoughtful messages of love and prayers. We deeply appreciate every one of them. And we appreciate Samaritan’s ministry, encouraging us and giving us the opportunity to share one another’s burdens. Not just financially, but in Christian love. Truly, that is how it should be.
May God ever bless this ministry and all those associated with it.
