Member letter: ‘Tears of relief and joy poured down my cheeks’

When I faced an expensive dental bill, I was overcome with worry and anxiety. How would I afford this? I cried and prayed and called Samaritan just in case there was some assistance. Tears of relief and joy poured down my cheeks when I was told my bills could be a Special Prayer Need—something we had contributed to monthly. I prayed and thanked God for His blessings.
Then the cards, well wishes, and checks started to arrive. I felt the love of God surround me, knowing that these strangers were my brothers and sisters in Christ, caring for me and my family. It was overwhelming.
