Member letter: Samaritan membership removes mailbox dread

From a Colorado family:

I’ve never been a mailbox fan since it usually produced demands. Since we have been a part of the Samaritan family, going to the mailbox has put a new beat in my step. Every day we receive mail from brothers and sisters across the nation. Not demanding mail, but love notes with gifts from their hearts to our home. Families calling us out to be part of a union, declaring in one voice, one body with one purpose, covered in the blood of Jesus!
I’ve been reminded that God doesn’t want us to look over the landscape of our life and see the same thing over and over again. The notes remind us that peace and hope are available to us in the midst of conflict.
Some families sent their own prayer requests as well. How wonderful to know something of another family we have only met in our hearts, and to bring a little bit of heaven down to earth with them.
All that God has done for us came through somebody else. It’s how blessings are showered upon us through Godís children. Because of Samaritan Ministries, everyday our family knows we are loved, and we are encouraged to give to others in need and to never have a stranger among us.
Jesus is on His way back! Thank you for spreading the good news and keeping our faith alive!
