Member letter: Samaritan members lift huge burden

I just wanted to pass along a huge “THANK YOU” to all of the members of SMI. You have taken a burden from my shoulders that was more than I could have handled alone.

I was one of the needs that were prorated in the past. I stayed in touch with SMI, mostly with Michael. Every time I talked to him, I immediately felt better. I was tested hard during those months, but prayers, trust, and simply believing were the key things that kept my faith strong. This was the first time since I became a member that I had to turn a need over to SMI. Thru the letters, cards, notes, and prayers, it was one of the most awesome experiences of my life.
The members donated extra money to the pro rata fund, and I was able to pay the whole amount to my medical bills. I thank God for giving extra money to the members to donate, and then I thank God for giving me Samaritan Ministries.
I told a lot of people about SMI before my surgery, but now I’m telling EVERYBODY I see. It is such an awesome ministry. My next prayer is that the entire country will see what a success this is.
