Notes 'meant so much'

I never realized how VITAL the personal notes can be that we are requested to send along with our checks for other's needs until I really needed the encouragement myself. One night after checks started coming in from other Samaritan members, I couldn't sleep. I got up and grabbed the pile of cards, notes, and letters I had received, took them to bed with me, and reread each beautiful, heart-felt sentiment, encouragement, scripture and prayer. They meant so much coming from strangers who cared. I GET IT—and will never again send a note to another member lightly. PRAISE GOD for the Body of Christ!
