Member letter: Notes from strangers

This was such an encouragement to us! After seeing Godís goodness in giving me a clean bill of health, we were overwhelmed by the cost of the medical bills. But, more than receiving the financial assistance, all of the encouraging notes and prayers from people we have never met were absolutely wonderful!
It was such a reminder of one of the true functions of the Body of Christ, to care for and encourage each other—even total strangers. Yet, in Christ, we are never really total strangers, and we felt that kinship of family so much!
