Member letter: Lord prepared him by bringing him into Samaritan

In 2009 I lost my job and was very concerned about the matter of health care. When I heard about Samaritan on the radio, I said, “Praise the Lord.” It was just what I needed, and I became a member in October of 2009. Two years later I had prostate cancer. It was difficult but the Lord was with me through it all. As I look back, it is a blessing to see how the Lord prepared me for what was coming. I thank the Lord for a quick recovery and for meeting my whole need. I also praise the Lord that I was able to negotiate an average discount of 30 percent on all the bills.
I also praise God for all the support I received from Samaritan staff and all the gifts, cards, prayers, and encouragement from so many members.
