Member letter: leap of faith

Why does being a Samaritan member feel like the faithful thing to do? Because it is, according to these members:

We have been so encouraged by being on the receiving end of members’ shares. When we joined Samaritan Ministries about eighteen months ago it felt like a leap of faith. Neither my husband nor I had ever been without insurance. We chose Samaritan precisely because we wanted to be faithful and to trust God to provide for our needs. We have sent our shares joyfully each month, knowing it was helping a fellow believer. Now, with our first need published, we have been so encouraged by the checks and notes from all over the country and the prayers behind them. It feels faithful because it is faithful.
