Member letter: ‘I can’t stop praising God’

Last year when I sent out the paperwork for my Special Prayer Need, I really didn’t know what to expect, and had almost forgotten about it. Then in January, I walked to the mailbox and found a kind note and financial gift from Indiana to be applied to my medical bill. It caught me by surprise, and I was moved to tears of thanksgiving that my Samaritan brothers and sisters cared enough to help me out financially. Then, a week later, a car appeared in my driveway, and a generous check was hand-delivered to be applied to my bill! Praise God!
I just can’t stop praising God for working with the hearts of man to be so kind to strangers (as well as neighbors). I also thank Him for the day I joined Samaritan, “Christians helping Christians.” I wish to thank all who prayed for me! An amazing fact that never ceases to humble me is that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, prays to the Father for our infirmities (John 17). Thank you, Jesus!
