Member letter: Humbled by the help

Vic and I have been members for almost two years, and we feel blessed to be a part of this ministry. It feels good to send our check every month to help fellow members. We feel honored to help meet needs. We had a Special Prayer Need that was a powerful experience. I was excited to find “real” mail in our mailbox one day, but I felt unsure when I didn’t recognize any of the names. I didn’t realize what was happening until I opened the envelopes, only to find money from strangers! I was in tears! To think that strangers would send us money for medical bills because they wanted to—AMAZING!

We send shares each month because SMI tells us to, but Special Prayer Needs are our choice. I was humbled by how many people chose to help us! Thank you!
