Member letter: Each check directly helps another believer

I’d like to thank the Lord for the recovery from my back surgery. But more importantly, I’d like to thank Him for Samaritan Ministries. It’s a pleasure to see Christians working together and taking care of each other. When we make out monthly checks for other people’s needs, I feel totally different than when I’m writing out any other checks.
I know that each check directly helps another believer. It’s not being used on massive overhead or increasing their profits. It’s a joy to write these checks—not a burden.
