Member letter: Brothers and sisters taking care of each other—truly the Biblical way

Thank you, Samaritan Ministries, for providing my family and me with an amazing alternative to insurance! We had our third baby in March 2014; with the previous two deliveries, I had my employer’s insurance. I work as a nurse in labor and delivery at a hospital where we deliver. In spite of my employment, we were paying very high deductibles and premiums because I work part-time in order to be home with our children. By saving us money monthly, Samaritan Ministries has made it possible for me to decrease my work hours further and home school our children!

What a blessing it was to receive the notes and cards from other members who are praying for my family! No where will you find that with insurance!! We have enjoyed sending our checks and cards to other families in need. What a blessing it is to share needs in the family of God … brothers and sisters taking care of each other—truly the Biblical way! Thank you Samaritan Ministries’ staff and members for all you do. You are truly making a difference in so many lives! Every time I call the office, I am greeted with a friendly, respectful voice—how refreshing after years of battling insurance companies! May God bless the members and this vital ministry.
