Member letter: A chance to brag

We never expected to be a receiver from Samaritan members, but then again, who does? What a blessing and peace of mind trusting that the financial aspect of our medical need would be shared by brothers and sisters in Christ. The prayers and notes were a tremendous boost! Thank you all! This medical event gave us the chance to brag about how we were going to pay the bills. Doctors, nurses, folks in waiting rooms, friends, and family all heard about this Christ-like way of taking care of each other. We also spoke of the freedom of making our own decisions regarding treatment rather than an insurance company telling us what we can or cannot do. Not having that stress is part of the healing. By the way, all the tests show that I am cancer free! Praise God!
