Lord provides for baby's needs through help of Samaritan members

We give glory to the Lord for the safe delivery of our second baby, Jane! And while she is healthy overall, we did need to get her lip- and tongue-ties released. As a single-income family, the cost to have this done was intimidating, but the Lord has provided help for us through the Body of Christ—praise Him! Having financial help for the cost of this procedure and her follow-up chiropractic care has allowed us such peace of mind, which is an invaluable gift. We thank the Lord for each individual and family who gave, for Samaritan Ministries, and for His care of us!

Gratitude for healing, help from members
We thank God for His continued healing of our daughter, Elian’s, knee following ACL surgery. Samaritan Ministries has been there with us through this process, providing prayer and emotional support as well as helping us with our medical expenses. Thank you for all you do!
As I send out my check to someone each month for my Share, I am happy to know that I am helping others with their medical needs. And I’m grateful others are doing the same to help me and my family when our medical bills come in. This system is working—PRAISE GOD! And I think He is pleased with the way it is working.

Both financial and spiritual blessings
God has blessed me abundantly since I had a stroke at the end of September. I knew I was having a stroke (I had had one previously), but I was not willing to go to the hospital initially because I was concerned about the cost of a hospital bill. My lack of trust that God would provide was wrong of me. Through all my life experiences, I know God provides for those who love Him! The bill was just under $30,000. We only paid $5,000 to $6,000 out of pocket. That amount was so much more manageable than $30,000. As the checks came to us from Samaritan Ministries members and we were able to pay our bills, I had a strong feeling of gratitude to God. He is such a wonderful Father in Heaven. Not only was there a financial blessing, but also a spiritual one. I was on four prayer chains locally! I am overwhelmed by how good God’s provisions are.

Sharing makes difficult processes easier
God has sent a faithful team of prayer warriors from many time periods of my life to faithfully walk beside me. The financial burden being lifted through the faithful sharing of Samaritan Ministries members makes the difficult processes of diagnosis and intervention so much easier to bear. I’ve encountered many excellent doctors and have had opportunities to share with many people how I have committed to being a good steward of God’s resources.

Joy to give and receive
Samaritan Ministries has been such a blessing to my husband and me. We love being a part of this ministry instead of paying premiums to an insurance company. What a joy it is to give to and receive from other members. I am so thankful for the love, support, and money to help me pay my hospital and doctor bills. It is such a highlight to open the mailbox and see the cards and read encouraging words.
