In Prayer: Paul knew how to be content; we can, too
By Mike Miller · Aug 15, 2012
Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through Him Who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:11-13
You can do it!
You can handle the challenges of life if you know the secret.
Paul faced many challenges in his life. He had times of “toil and hardship.” At times he experienced “hunger and thirst” and was “in cold and exposure” (2 Cor. 11:22-28), yet he knew how to be content.
How can you and I face trials and be content? We can only do this the same way Paul did. Through Christ Who gives us strength. Ask God for this strength. You can do it—through Christ.
