In Prayer: He supplies our every need

And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
The believers in Philippi partnered with Paul in his ministry while he was imprisoned in Rome, and several times before then. It was a sacrifice for them to give. Paul rejoiced that they were caring for him, but he rejoiced even more because he knew that their gifts to God would produce fruit that would increase to their credit.
We can give generously to others as God directs, confident that He will provide for our needs richly, and that there will be fruit that increases to our credit. God has promised to supply our every need, not sparingly, but according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
