Idaho governor signs bill to protect health care sharing ministries

Idaho Gov. C.L. Otter signed a law on Monday making Idaho the 23rd state to have a safe harbor law Idaho became the 23rd state with a safe harbor law for health care sharing ministries. Praise God!
Such a law clarifies that HCSMs are not insurance and not subject to Idaho insurance regulations. Other states with safe harbor laws are Arizona, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
