‘God bless all of you, Samaritan members’

Letter from a member:

My life was facing a very difficult situation. A recent event frightened my life—my liver duct was blocked with gallstones, I became jaundiced, and ended up with three surgeries in an attempt to finally remove my gallbladder.
When the bills started coming in, I was in tears because of the cost. I actually did not feel I was worth it. Total fees—$106,000. So, between Jonathan from The Karis Group along with my husband and I calling providers and writing letters for negotiations, we got the bills down to $80-some-thousand. God’s faithfulness and the truth of His Word dried my tears and fears. Trust God and His people to care and provide for us. When we suffer, through our Lord’s grace, our hope does not dim, sputter, or vanish when we face tough times. God bless all of you, Samaritan members. The checks, cards, and letters fulfill the whole purpose. It is unbelievable how the Lord and His people provide. Thank all of you for your patience and prayers through these unreal medical costs.
