Garbers forging ahead with projects

Since 2010, when Kathy Garber wrote her book, A Mother’s Guide to Herbal Extracts: Saving Tristan, the Garbers have experienced some major changes.

Two days before his 18th birthday, Tristan had a kidney transplant. His father, Nathan, a perfect match, donated his right kidney to his son. Because of God’s grace and Kathy’s herbal supplementation, Tristan never did have dialysis.

Kathy’s most recent formula targets dimming eyesight, especially issues such as macular degeneration and poor night vision. The results and feedback from the testing stage are promising, and plans are to release it this month.

Mountain Meadow Herbs still figures largely in the Garbers’ life. Kathy kept on as a consultant in areas of environment, marketing, and leadership development. MMH has moved to a larger facility and carries an increasing variety of natural health products. Thanks to Kathy’s leadership, it has an impressive reputation for the quality of its products and the care it provides for its nationwide customers, and has garnered respect from the business community. MMH produces and markets Kathy’s formulas, which can be purchased through its website.

The William and Lydia Foundation is slowly growing. Kathy continues to research herbal remedies for malaria and to look for opportunities to distribute them. She keeps in contact with a missionary family in Africa who are learning to use a microscope to document results. A little more than a year ago, their oldest son died of malaria, but when the parents had malaria recently, they felt better within 24 hours of using Kathy’s formula. Kathy hopes to help thousands more through the Foundation, which exists on contributions.
