February 2014 Samaritan newsletter links
By Samaritan staff · Feb 01, 2014
Sure, it’s been cold, but the February 2014 Samaritan Ministries Christian Health Care Newsletter is hot off the presses!
Here are links to what we’ve got in our print edition this month:
- Why are children leaving the Church in record numbers? Worldview writer Rob Slane offers a few possibilities.
- We reprint Dr. Jonny Bowden’s critique of another doctor’s criticism of vitamins.
- Two of the leaders at ITonRamp.com are Samaritan members: Nathan Maxwell and Christopher Maxwell. This month’s Member Spotlight talks about their business which helps anyone wanting to get into IT do so in a way that encourages good stewardship. The Maxwell men also explain why they have chosen to be Samaritan Ministries members.
- Member Doug Shales passed away in October 2013, but was able to prepare his own funeral program including a final address to friends and family.
- Marilyn Cameron, a Samaritan member, has been battling a malignant tumor near her brain. Her husband, Pastor Howard Cameron, tells about their journey of healing.
- Vice President for Communications Ray King exhorts us to have faith in God’s mercy in this month’s Doorpost.
