Christmas dread, Christmas joy

A study reported by the Christian Post says that 35 million Americans “dread having to be nice during the holidays.”

The Consumer Reports survey says that during the Christmas season many Americans dread:

  • Crowds and long lines.
  • Gaining weight.
  • Gaining debt.
  • Traveling.
  • Shopping.
  • Seasonal music.
  • Getting gifts they don’t want.
  • Seeing relatives.
  • Going to parties and holiday events.

Let’s turn this around. What do you love about the Christmas season? What suggestions do you have for those who dread certain aspects of Christmas? And is their dread based on lack of the proper focus regarding Christmas?
