Air National Guard appreciation for Samaritan, other employers is sky high

Three Samaritan Ministries representatives took a trip into the wild blue on a C-130 Hercules last week as a thank you for supporting employees who are part of the Illinois Air National Guard.
Ted Pittenger, founder and president; Justin Easley, vice president of Human Resources; and Michael Grimm, director of Human Resources and Staff Development joined representatives of other Air Guard members’ employers for a breakfast and one-hour flight with the 182nd Airlift Wing based in Peoria.
The flight was a “blast,” Michael Grimm said.
“I’ll be honest, I was a bit nervous about the flight before we left, but the Air Guard took great care of us,” the HR director said. “It was an experience that you never really expect to have. The technology and ability of our military never ceases to amaze me.”
